The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) is a major UK engineering institution whose activities encompass the whole materials cycle, from exploration and extraction, through characterisation, processing, forming, finishing and application, to product recycling and land reuse. It exists to promote and develop all aspects of materials science and engineering, geology, mining and associated technologies, mineral and petroleum engineering and extraction metallurgy, as a leading authority in the worldwide materials and mining community.

Technology World in partnership with UK NanoForum

For 2010 UKTI has brought together two previously successful events; Technology World and UK Nano & Emerging Technologies Forum to create one major 2-day event that showcases the best of UK science and technology to an international audience.

Last year the two events jointly attracted over 1700 visitors from 38 countries, facilitated more than 3,000 meetings and generated an estimated £118 million of potential business transactions.

We have received an exhibitor grant and will be joining the NanoKTN and other UK Nanotechnology organisations within the Nano Zone.
