David holds a PhD in Materials from Imperial and spent many years in the commercialisation of materials technology and physical sciences at Alcan International.  He has worked for the last 10 years with university academics, private inventors, university spin outs and other start-ups on getting innovations to market and realising their commercial potential. 

As a practicing materials scientist, David provides the bridge between the technical and commercial world for new technologies.
