Mo Song is a Professor in polymer science within the Materials Department of Loughborough University. He has Honorary Awards as a Visiting Professor of Sichuan University, China and Guest Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He has published 25 conference papers, 120 scientific journal articles, authored 2 books and has several patents.
