Polyfect has been established to commercialise demonstrated technology for the low cost, homogeneous dispersal of functional fillers in thermoplastics.
Polyfect’s initial strategy is to:
Work with a select number of partners that recognise the potential of the technology and wish to be amongst the first to benefit from it
Develop and supply batches of high value new materials
Scale up the technology for licensing
Polyfect is a spin-out from Loughborough University’s Institute of Polymer Technology & Materials Engineering.
Initial funding was provided by IPSO Ventures, and The Lachesis Fund was also involved in the transaction.
